How did The Butterfly Book Club start?

During the Covid-19 lockdown, I rediscovered my love for reading and wanted somewhere to review my books and find new books to read from other readers. Hence the birth of my bookstagram page @book.x.butterfly. Through this adventure, I've had the amazing opportunity to meet many authors and I got into reviewing indie books. This made me realise how many hidden gems there are out there and how many people are missing out on 5-star reads due to the lack of support for indie authors. I paired this realisation with my love for group reads and The Butterfly Book Club was born.

What is The Butterfly Book Club?

The Butterfly Book Club is a monthly subscription (or single purchase) box with a twist. Each month, I collaborate with an indie author to produce an exclusive edition book design, which will be sold in a monthly readalong package. Readers who purchase a package will be added to a readalong group for that book, to read the book together and discuss the book with each other and the author, who will also be in the chat! This is a great way for bookstagrammers and authors to make new connections.
